Sturminster Newton United went down 3-2 at bottom of the table Piddletrenthide after finding themselves 3-0 down in half an hour.

The Cherries were slow off the mark and deserved to be three down at the break. After the break, The Cherries started to hit back, but goals from Stuart Frear and an own goal were not enough to get anything from the game.

"It was too little too late, and I would like to apologise to everyone in connection with the club for that performance. It is not the first time this season that we have played 45 minutes so badly, but it has to be the last" said manager Gary Head.
